AgenticAdvertising.Org (AAO) Is Taking Over the Croisette

Bienvenue à Cannes! This year, AgenticAdvertising.org (AAO) is showing up in full force at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. At the festival, agentic advertising is one of the loudest conversations in the room, and AAO and our members are at the center of it.

We built AAO to be the nonprofit member organization of brands, agencies, publishers, technology platforms, and individuals to shape how AI and advertising work together. That cross-industry makeup is deliberate: the members writing the standards are the same ones whose agents will run on them. Cannes is where that community gets to show up in person, in full. Here's everywhere you'll find us.

Our Opening Night: The Official Start to Your Cannes Week

If you only do one thing with us this week, make it this.

The best ideas in advertising are about to matter more than they have in decades. Come drink to that — and to the official start to your Cannes week.

Expect cocktails, the people putting creativity and innovation back at the center of the work, and the first real conversation of the week about agentic advertising. This opening night is hosted by AAO, Scope3, Yahoo, Prebid, and HUMAN. This event is now full and waitlist only.

Our Panel: Made by Machines. Meant for Humans.

We're also taking the stage — and this is the panel of the week you do not want to miss.

Made by Machines. Meant for Humans: Winning Trust in the Cre(ai)tive Economy

AI agent traffic grew over 7,000% last year. We are rapidly entering the Cre(ai)tive Economy — a marketing ecosystem where autonomous AI agents constantly iterate, test, and scale campaigns at a speed no human team can match. But scale without judgment is a liability no brand can afford, and speed without trust is just noise.

This session brings together a CMO managing brand reputations, a publisher protecting audience relationships, and the infrastructure builders connecting the ecosystem. We'll tackle the shifting geography of risk and ROI, and explore how to unlock the true power of an agentic loop while keeping human creativity and governance firmly in the driver's seat.

On stage:

  • Sarah Acker, SVP Marketing, HUMAN
  • Amanda DeVito, CMO, Butler/Till
  • Mike Chevallier, VP, Advanced Audio & Data Revenue, iHeartMedia
  • Priti Ohri, Co-Founder & CEO, Advertible
  • Christina Cubeta, CMO, Scope3

This is an exclusive session with a powerhouse lineup and very few seats left: Last chance to Request your seat for the panel.

Closing Out the Week: The Governance Breakfast Club

We're not just opening the week — we're closing it the right way too. As Cannes winds down, we are hosting a private Governance Breakfast Club, where the conversation turns from big ideas to the real work of building agentic advertising responsibly: the standards, the guardrails, and the governance questions that will define whether this industry earns the trust it's asking for.

It Won't Stop at the Scheduled Events

If you know this community, you know the calendar above is only half the story. Some of the best AAO moments at Cannes happen off the agenda entirely — impromptu coffees, hallway debates that turn into partnerships, a group that was supposed to grab one drink and ends up taking over a terrace for the night. That's just how this community operates: AAO stewards the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP), the open standard for agentic advertising built with contributors spanning markets around the world, and that same spirit of open, hands-on collaboration shows up everywhere our members gather.

There's More To Come

Opening night, the panel, and the breakfast club are what's on the public calendar — but we've also been behind the scenes this week, sitting down with builders, operators, and brands who are shaping where agentic advertising goes next. We'll be sharing those conversations after Cannes, once the dust settles. Stay tuned.

Don't Navigate Cannes Alone — Meet L'Agents of AAO

Cannes is a lot. Hundreds of events, thousands of people, and the constant question of who's actually building something real versus who's just talking about it.

That's why we put together L'Agents of AAO — a Cannes Lions guide spotlighting select members who are actively building agentic offerings using AdCP. It's designed to help you:

  • Connect with fellow AAO members on the ground
  • See the agentic innovations they've actually built
  • Schedule the high-value meetings that turn a week on the Croisette into real business

See You on the Croisette

Agentic advertising has moved from buzzword to building block, and Cannes Lions is where the industry will decide what that means in practice. AAO and its members are the ones shaping that conversation. We'll see you in Cannes.
